I traveled to India in July 2013 as a Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellow. I collaborated with American and Indian teachers and community members in Bangalore, Rajkot and Delhi. We established relationships based on global perspectives and pedagogy and learned how Indian schools are engaged in global citizenship. Through the role of teacher, learner, traveler and tourist, this program has been a touchstone for supporting global education in my community.
